What is scrubby sponge™ made from?

An absorbent plant-cellulose side and a coconut-fibre scrubbing side, joined with an adhesive. One side for lathering, one for tackling everyday messes.

What is the pop-up sponge made from?

100% plant cellulose. It arrives compressed and flat for easy storage, then expands when you add water.

Is scrubby sponge™ compostable?

While it’s made from plant cellulose and coconut fibre, it contains an adhesive to hold the layers together. Because of this, we don’t currently claim that the finished sponge is compostable.

How do I care for my scrubby sponge™?

After each use, rinse with hot water, wring out, and let it dry. Wash periodically to help keep odours at bay and get more life out of your sponge.

What’s the difference between scrubby sponge™ and the pop-up sponge?

scrubby sponge™ has an absorbent cellulose side and a coconut-fibre scrubbing side. Our pop-up sponge is made from 100% plant cellulose with no scrubbing layer. It stores flat before first use – just add water and watch it pop up!
